Gwyneth Vaughan is a local glass artist who focuses on small works in her home studio. Her love of glass emerged at an early age, likely stemming from the visual storytelling of stained glass in the church of her grandfather’s southeastern-Pennsylvania parish.
Over the past 10 years, she has developed her art to focus on kilncasting, and as part of the process found a love for sculpting and mold making. She has relocated (again!) from the San Francisco Bay Area, where she recently took time away from her regular day-job to work with glass artists, learning glassblowing techniques and practicing her vitrigraph and murine-pulling skills. Gwyn is excited to be teaching artists how to integrate this versatile medium into their creative works.
